You’ve probably heard of Thomas Doyle, or at least seen some of his work. Well there’s a new installment now and I am loving it. Now I’m concerned about getting sued by McDonalds, but I will take my chances here.

I have a reasonable interest in matters military. Previous posts might have hinted at this interest. Perhaps I should even have a “military” category listed here. But I digress. Today’s post concerns a convergence of military and design, namely designer gas masks. How thrilling. How nice. When faced with surviving a poisoned gas attack there’s really no excuse to not look fashionable is there? You wouldn’t catch Victoria Beckham sporting one of these ordinary masks would you? You could perhaps imagine celebrities sporting them along side an outfit much like this one. But failing that I reckon the designer gas masks are right up Hollywood’s street.
I on the other hand would accessorise with something more like this or perhaps something a little more modern .

Garfield minus Garfield is an interesting project where you simply remove Garlfield from the comic strip, and what you’re left with is a rather surreal, one-sided, conversation of Jon Arbuckle. As the site says:

More Felines. You know what that means don’t you? Yes I haven’t got anything else to write about. It would seem that the Felines are turning into my Fillerbunny (©Jhonen Vasquez). Regardless, I will plug on with writing something here soon - although, if I think about it carefully, I’ve probably said that before a long hiatus. It’s work that gets in the way. No, it’s true. Work and then the whole relaxing in the evening. It’s a tough life you know. As I am sure you are also aware of. So why not kick back for about 5 seconds, fire up the full size Felines strip, and treat yourself to some “you time”. After all, this kind of therapy is free.
